We are ideally situated, being a three minute drive from the lake with bars, restaurants and beaches where there are pedalloes for hire, play areas for children and a crazy golf course.

On the opposite side of the lake is the Water Sports Centre where you can enjoy canoeing, kayaking, sailing and windsurfing.

Other activities on and around these lakes include fishing, horseriding, cycling and rambling.

There is a diverse range of activities to be enjoyed and to suit all ages and tastes. Listed below are some of the more popular ones.

The Adventure Park (10 min drive) has a bungee jump and an adventure trail which is suspended totally in the trees, this is highly popular with children and adults.

There are two golf courses in the area at St Junien and Montbron both a 20 minute drive from us in opposite directions.

There are several chateaux to visit in the area including ones at Rochechouart (10 min drive) and La Rochefoucauld (25 min drive). Plus the Gallo-Roman baths at Chassenon (15 min drive).

The Velo Rail is a fun but energetic day out for children and adults and this is at Roumazières-Loubert (20 min drive).

La Discothèque in Lesignac (5 min drive) welcomes adults from 18 years old upwards for dancing, drinking and fun into the small hours.
