The cottage comprises: on the ground floor a large open plan living room containing a TV showing English channels and kitchen containing a microwave, electric hob and oven, a fridge, a freezer and a coffee-making machine plus a table and chairs for dining. Upstairs is a mezzanine bedroom with bathroom, containing a bath, WC, sink and separate shower cubicle.
The cottage is heated by electric radiators. Bedlinen and towels are provided.
Ten minute walk to the village where there is a small store, bar and restaurant. The lakes of the Haute Charente are a 20 minute walk or 2 minute drive.
This cottage is also available for longer term lets and is an ideal base for househunters who want to explore the area. The rental price for a longer term let is negotiable and would of course be greatly discounted compared to the weekly rental price.
